i just switched over to bolle. their new stuff is AWESOME.

the pinky low light lens and the fire red med/high lens are the best going IMO. much better than smith sensor and oakley whatchamacallit.

Smith.. I've had 3 different pairs last me years and I'm hard on my goggles. I used to love my carreras (sp?) and the spys that I have now are OK...

Oh and the fact you can just go to their website and get replacement lenses is awesome (not to mention a good warrenty)

Smith X1000. Best customer service of any of the sunglass/goggle manufacturers.

I like Scott goggles for inexpensive ones ($15ish) -- their "amplifier" rose-tint lens is pretty nice in flat light, and doable in bright light.

I've had a few different brands and they all seem to hold up pretty well. I'd just go with what fits and feels best.

Smith for sure. Best fit and moderate pricing. Oakely of course is alright, but it seems that their prices just get more and more astronomical, especially when compared along side Smiths.

Scott goggles are good for the price too, but they fit funny on my nose. Good construction, however.

FAKE EDIT: Every time I typed "goggle" it came out "google" in this post...

Smith Phenom on SACto right now, $39, including ones with the oh-so-excellent-in-flat-light sensor mirror lens.

Damn! No silver with sensor. If anyone is holding a pair they do not want let me know.

For $39 you are really worried about the color? What's wrong with black or white frames?

Have been treated very well by my Carrera's. Good helmet compatibility, naturally, as they are geared toward racing...

My Utopias. (see avatar). I don't care what Xover thinks.

They fit with my helmets and NEVER fog on me. Even when I'm wearing a hood and a neck warmer up over my nose.

To each their own. I had several pair of trusty Smiths fall apart like Chinese motorcycles on me and with very little use and no abuse.

I tend to like scott goggles, the witness & motive I like hands down, have great vision, plus are an awesome value. Smith are great too.
