Very cool strobe blogspot I just found

    http://strobist.blogspot.com/

I like their attitude of working with cheap, small strobes.

It isn't necessary to imagine the world ending in fire or ice. There are two other possibilities: one is paperwork, and the other is nostalgia.

I'm just a simple girl trying to make my way in the universe...
I come up hard, baby but now I'm cool I didn't make it, sugar playin' by the rules
If you know your history, then you would know where you coming from, then you wouldn't have to ask me, who the heck do I think I am.

Yeah, I really like that site. I need to spend more time there because as a jong I think off-camera flash work is one of the more interesting and daunting aspects of photography. I'm sure it could really improve my photos.

Damn, that do-it-yourself "Macro-Studio" worked a lot better than I had expected...

Very nice. I built something very similar back in February, and it turned out okay I think. This isn't quite as macro as it looks - the blocks are large.

That's cool. The simplicty kills me. But that's the point, right? Keep it simple.
