    Question Ska Peeps

Got a fairly vague question, that hopefully somebody might be able to help with. Does anybody know that artist/title/album of a Ska song from the early-mid 1990's that has a chorus something to the effect of "play the rolls away, play the rolls away, rolls away,........rolls away....." Not much to go on there, but possibly somebody can enlighten me. Thanks.

I think the song was "Wailing Paddle" by The Rudiments.

Check out Asian Man Records at www.asianmanrecords.com

They put out a discography of their early '90's stuff and it should be on there.

...not 100% sure that's the song though.

EDIT: yup, definitely the song here's the mp3

    Thumbs up

    Thanks man, I appreciate it.

Got another question......same early 90's music. Chorus is something along the lines of "I was driving......with the white trash girls and a pink Cadillac...........80's in the 90's so you gotta wonder why...." (I don't really know all of the words, that is just what I can remember off hand...)

Just as a disclaimer, the roofing guys working on a job next to us have a killer Ska mixed tape (note the word tape) that they got from a friend. Nobody seems to know the titles of any of the songs, and I no longer own any devices that will play a tape, let alone make a duplicate.
