Like the lion says.......with a dh tire, the tubeless designation isn't necessary.

I've been using maxxis 2.5 dh tires on my uzzi for over a year. Go to that lingerie shop in south shore and get some of that body latex stuff and use it for a sealant.

Call olympic in tahoe city. I know they've got a bunch of minions. I don't know if there are any USTs in the buch.

Also.....if you don't come get those forks, I'm selling them and giving the money to mraltagirl in two weeks.

I'm also running non-UST 2.5 Minions / Highrollers as tubeless, no problems. Go for it!

Like everyone else said, UST version isn't really necessary. I run a 2.7 front/2.5 rear ghetto tubeless with no problems.

Sierra Cycle Works in South Lake usually has Minions in stock too.

i keep my posts short -- sometimes too short -- or i woulda added the verbiage about me rocking the ghetto / stan's thing wayback in the day...showing my age here...and how in the last 3 years or so i've pretty much migrated to UST tires on UST rims whenever possible for a variety of reasons.

since i rarely shop on the north shore i was basically fishing for DH-savvy shop recommendations up there. i am intimately familiar with the s shore offerings.

    thx.

Olympic in Tahoe City is your best bet. Village Ski Loft in Incline might be worth a call also.
