Cable DVR
Holy Shite, this thing I just got is way cool. A Tivo device built into my digital cable box. I tell it to record all Simpsons, and it obeys. Pauses live tv. And totally brainless operation - find something on the guide, press a button, and you've got it. And you don't have to stay up 'til 2 in the morning to find out Picabo Street's Snow Zoney thing sucks. You can find out on your own schedule.
I call it the anti gym.

DVR fucking rules! I always manage to miss PTI not anymore, plus you can make sure that you don't miss shows that come on at the same time. And did I mention that I rarely ever watch sports live anymore, just DVR them and I can watch a basketball game in one hour and miss the two hours of BS commercials and halftime crap
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

I have it too. I love it, especially when I am playing Ultimate at 10:00 at night, and I don't want to miss the O.C. (every Wed.)
Does yours have that annoying delay though? Sometimes it takes a while to scroll the channels, cause the electronics haven't caught up yet. Small price to pay though.
