    i saw victor last sat
he was staggering up washington in front of arbor.
then he fell over backward and smacked his head on the pavement.

he really should just kill himself.

I'm qualified to state because I grew up on one of the walk streets just a few blocks from the pier. In fact I still have fam there.
Thank Neptune I had the sense to leave back in '88.
Oh cool one, where in this megaopolis do you live now? I don't live in Venice, but it has changed dramatically from when you grew up and left. I have no interest in surfing there, but there is definitely some fun to had down there, like many places in the world.

Don't worry Topanga, its not like I was gonna stalk ya

Someone must have really pissed in your Cheerios this morning to be quite so negative. Go for a surf, have a drink, and take a chill pill.

I worked in LA for a couple of months a few years ago. I stayed in a Meridien on La Cienega or some shit. What I remember is no one walks anywhere and Venice beach being like a bigger version of Camden here in London. i.e freakshow. We sat on the beach and were the only non-Spanish people for a good few yards. I looked out to sea and there were about 200 people going for one footers that rolled in every 10 mins.

It was beautiful weather. We drove out towards Malibu and bought Freddy a tshirt from Zuma Jays, then ate in some overpriced restaurant like a golf club right on the water and looked out of the window at seals. On the way back I noticed we passed a right point break. Thinking back I'm sure it was Topanga. Again it was breaking 1 or 2 foot but really zooed out.

Back then, I posted here about where and who I could go for a surf with and got the usual sarky shit so didn't bother chasing it up.

Anyway. Now I'm sat here in the rain and landlocked, I wish I did.

Funny post Big Tim. Takes me back a while.

And no, it really hasn't changed. that much.
It's still polluted with dog shit, Korean t shirt vendors and puking bums.

I thought you've been surfing Texas since the 50s or whenever. Long way to go for waves.

Fucking unbelievable. I don't remember writing any of that shit up there. Just finished a 3 day bender and can't think of beer without dry heaving.

I am however, very impressed with my excellent drunk posting skills.

And Topanga Rentboy. Why have you deleted your posts?

Talking Hey, I ran the HobOlympics -

And let me tell you, these guys had a freaking blast. I know some of you have said that paying people to puke or whatever is wrong, but it is not, because this is what these guys do everyday anyways.

If you don't believe me, take a look http://www.venicesurfreport.com/2007...e-18-2007.html to see what these guys do when I'm not even around.

They don't need any help from me to "degrade themsleves"........

That's some funny-ass shit! I wanna see them puke on the cops next time.

I'll buy them a round of 40s next time I'm in the neighborhood.
