never summer summit vs prior khyber split
did some searching only to really find the thread about the guy who had never heard of a splitboard before.
I've checked out splitboard.com, but those forums seem dead more or less.
basically I was just curious if anyone had ridden either of these boards that wanted to offer some insight. I do most of my riding at berthoud or cameron pass during the winter. I never really get a chance to ride big lines being that I spend nearly every day of the summer working. I'm 6'2" 195 pounds.
I'm thinking the 165 khyber or a 167 summit.
so any opinions would be appreciated.

I am a huge fan of the Khyber, but I think NS are built a wee bit more bomber...I wish NS would make a pintail!

I figure they are both pretty good, but if I am going to spend that much, might as well go NS. now if I could just get those guys to respond to my email.

Bump.
Because I'll be in the same boat later this summer or fall. I'm looking more along the lines of a 172 (6'3", 220) and have heard great feedback on both companies. From what I understand the NS boards are bomber (and 3 year warrenty) but also weigh a bit more. I checked out Venture and I'm sure there are CO mags who would give them props.

The NS summit is a "pintail" and can be ordered as a split. I know a couple of guys that love their Prior splits. They say they ride just the same as the same model not split.
