Road Trip Time
Just got my baby back from the beautification shop and she is looking gorgeous. So...
Vegas? Hood? Getting drunk on pabst driving through middle america with maggots by my side?
Shipping it down to chile and hooking up with my buddy C's place in Santiago then driving down to the southern tip of chile with the top down?
Bueller?

That there is a beauty! Bastard.
Not a fan of off-white paint jobs, though.

What year? Very nice, BTW.
My 67, ended it's life last year.
With any luck I should inherit a 61 Fleetwood, when I pony up and get married.
Like so, but with in white and Baby blue, and gray interior.

Any TRUE 66 caddy man knows that off white is the actual paint scheme for the car/model #. True white sucks on caddys because it doesn't look glazed on.Originally posted by 13

Gadget, that yours?
My 67 wasn't originally a convertable, but was after the friend I accquired it from was through with it. It started it's life as a two door hardtop.
It was in pretty good condition and the engine was a beast, buddy got tagged by a drunk one night and completely crupled the back drivers quarter panel. Guy didn't have insurance, etc. Car was pretty much totaled.
We cut into the quarter panel and pulled it out as much as possible and bondoed the bejesus out of it, to not much avail.
We then decided it was time to give the interior "a little more light" . We cut a 4ft by 4ft section out of the roof, and then had screw on buttons and a custom canvas top made. We used a inch by 1/4" aluminum barr to support the mid section. It was really sweet, you basically had a giant sunroof in the summer, and froze in the winter, it was a second car so it didn't see much winter action.
I Heart Caddy's.

Rides like that are the staple in my hood. There's some pretty cool flava in the ghetto.
