afternoon rides/summer maggot team
anyone interested in getting groups together during the week and on weekends for rides in the boulder/denver area? winter park runs their race circuit and we could possibly form a team or just compete as a group. road rides are also an option.
I was amazed at how light and fluffy the powdery snow was and at how the challenge never ended.

I ride frequently during the week. Work from home, can ride anytime. Only MTB, I don't have a road bike. In Westminster. I am getting together with a group on saturday to do Hall Ranch. PM me for details.

I road ride after work during the week from Boulder. Usually do a Lee Hill type of loop or a 63rd Ave loop if looking for something flatter. MTB on wknds at various spots - alot in Summit county.
I would be up for more riding friends. Start a weekly ride thread and we can post meet times?
Usually do some of the Summit Series races.
This Sat. is Walker Ranch Super Loop (start in Boulder).I think I'm going mad.

i'm still skiing...
i'm still skiing for a few more weekends, but have started doing after work dusk/night rides @ green mt. & would also ride matt winters or apex or wherever as long as my lights are charged.
probably won't race this season, but would be up for WP training rides and/or any other weekend mtb rides after about 4/18. i've also found a bunch of killer riding up in evergreen that should be thawed out soon...
i'll check back in for the weekly ride threadto all my friends, it's not the end

just a side note, rode with cumerrit and some other non-maggots on saturday at Hall ranch. Evidently some girl bit it hard and severely broke her collar bone, they had to airlift her out.
I didn't see her but there was a Alison Dunlap siting.More fucked up than a cricket in a hubcap

Walker Ranch is a GO!!
It's dry and very rideable. The super loop ride on Sat was good with only one minor mechanical and only some bitchin' about sore butts. It took a little over 4 hours so not our best time (not even close
) but all in all I think it was a success.
Lookin' forward to the next one.I think I'm going mad.

Yep, it's a good ride. If you're gonna ride Walker, you gotta ride Flagstaff on your mtb.

Brrrrrr, yea upon further review of the weather, not gonna do it. Being a big pussy but I'll save the early morning rides for when the weather gets a little warmer.
After work road rides in the BOU area are a must for this summer. I'm sure we'll hook up.I think I'm going mad.

I am in for after work rides, but as of right now I can only do road rides. My fork is at Fox being worked on and I dont know when its coming back. Also, if the weather ever shapes up we should get a group together and do a saturday or sunday ride type thing.
