Ryan Shaw + Joss Stone
If left to my own devices, I probably wouldn't have gone. But, I know that my loving and long suffering wife really likes the general genre of music and then some friends were in town, the wife I also knew would like it. So I jumped on the grenade and made sure my buddy jumped on one too.
I have to say, it was pretty enjoyable both Ryan Shaw and Joss Stone are pretty entertaining, both are obviously good singers. The ladies got Ryan to autograph a cd + ticket b/c in another blinding stroke of good husbandness…I saw him and the guitarist walk right behind where we were stationed after their set. He was pretty personable.
Lows:
I don’t need five minutes of some 20y/o english tart prattling on about relationship advice, thanks.
The fillmore's bar lines are retardedly long.
Highs:
That 20y/o english tart is damn cute.
All in all, I had a really good time, the music was good and I also racked up a ton of extra credit points with the wife so it get's the lemon seal of recommendation"It is not the result that counts!
