    Murder city devils

Forgot how much I liked this band but their name just popped in my head while searching Itunes spending a gift card.

Check em out if you haven't already. I love the organ rock!

Yup, they kick serious ass. One of the few great punk bands of modern times.

I was at the reunion show last summer (Capitol Hill Block Party, not the show at the club). Pretty good performance and the crowd were “into it”.

The drummer, Cody, is one-half of the almighty Big Business, who, when their not melting faces as a duo, is one-half of the Melvins. The singer now performs in the bands Smoke and Smoke and Skinned Alive to Death. Other members of MCD are in Pretty Girls Make Graves, who, IMO, suck, however, they do have the organ.

If you like the MCD, you HAVE to see the Edge of Quarrel . They star in it as the "punk" thugs fighting the edgers. Rocky Votolato is the guy stuck in the middle trying to moderate. Hilarity ensues, although not intentionally.

I have the VHS, if anyone still knows how to work those things.

Come to SF one of these weekends and we'll ride up Tam, grab the best burger in the city afterwards, and then relax with some Summer Solstice and the Edge of Quarrel.
