Non-rental rental boots in Denver/Aspen
So I have a serious first-world problem on my hands:
A client of mine needs help at an event in Aspen over the weekend, and my boss wants me to go. I live in San Diego. All of my gear, however, is stashed in a closet in Mammoth. I don't really mind renting skis up there (actually a nice opportunity to have fun with some demos), but my oddly-shaped ankles really hate crap boots. Anyone know of spots in Denver or Aspen that rent legit boots?
Cheers,
Jeff

There's tons of good shops in Aspen, why would you rent in Denver?

Go here:

or here:

Both are owned by the same people... are always very good to me.
or here:

which is owned by the Aspen Skiing Company... who is also pretty darn good to me.www.dpsskis.com
www.point6.com
formerly an ambassador for a few others, but the ski industry is... interesting.
Fukt: a very small amount of snow.

FedEx the key to someone in Mammoth and have them FedEx your boots straight to the hotel.
As we've seen in this thread "good" is a relative term. Good boots are the ones that fit your feet. You don't really hear of "high end" boot rental as people who actually ski usually own boots. You might be able to find some kind of crossover AT boot that will fit and has mediocre performance at Ute Mountaineer.

looks like they have the Scarpa Freedoms - no huge surprise as Dav lives there

Live in snowmass and have a pair of
27.5 krypton's and
28.5 Garmont Endorphins.
Your choice if that works.
