    Breezy Point, Queens, NY April 29

    Queens, NY

    With reports going around that the larger fish have entered the bays around NYC, I went out Sunday morning to the Breezy Point jetty in an attempt to find some fish exiting the bays in search of the massive amounts of bunker about 1/2 mile from the beaches.

    Where's Breezy??

    Area to the left of Brooklyn is an entrance to NY harbor and I believe the little line crossing B-lyn with the land mass on the left is the Verranzano Bridge to Staten Island.

    Without further ado...a fishing Vid tr... (must use sound...)

    I'll likely be heading to the south county area friday night. The plan now for Sat. is turkey hunting in the AM, then fishing. If this should change, I'll let you know. I'd like to get to that area shortly.

    The video made reminded me of using a bamboo pole to catch snappers off a jetty on the Great South Bay.
