Thread: best epoxy type for delam repair

have some delam issues with a sandwich ski (made worse by wading through spring slush+puddles)...plan to inject epoxy into gaps in sidewall.
anyone have a recommendation for best type of epoxy for this job?
issues are near brake, so the ability of the set-up glue to bend not as crucial as it would be towards tip or tail, but i want to do this right the first time.

I have used this for many, many things. From holding guitar necks together, to boats, to ass cheeks after a Friday night Taco Bell bender......

I've used all types of epoxy and this stuff seems to working very well for certain fixes.

It doesn't dry flexible so it won't do the bendy but for your application, should work pretty well. You can buy it at ACE in an individual tube for around $3.

It's like a two part playdo. You pull a chunk off, and roll it until the color is uniform. You can use it with your hands too so you can really mold it around stuff. It dries super hard and strong. Pretty cool stuff to throw in a "fix it" or emergency kit.

destroyed? I think not, but still bummed to see separation at the sidewall.
i didn't notice when i waxed the skis friday nite, so it is new. everything clamps down fine in the vice so i'm hoping some good epoxy will do the trick.

as this is presently my favorite ski, i'll be a buyer for spares/pairs for the forseeable future...did you hurt a W9.1 yourself??
