We've had an angelbed memory foam for about 6 months. They sell mail order, (free shipping) so you can't try them out in the store. They offer 90 return. they claim to be the same stuff as tempurpedic, claim to be made in the US. They offer a20 year warranty--50% refund after 10 years. My impression is that it might be a bit firmer than tempurpedic. Still expensive but considerably less than tempurpedic. Has definitely helped my wife's back and I definitely ache less in the morning. I'm a surgeon and get called out or get in in the middle of the night--my wife really appreciates that she doesn't get woken by my getting in and out of bed. The order was missing something when it arrived (I don't recall what) but they shipped the missing item promptly and threw in some free sheets. Obviously I can't comment on durability, the warranty, or how it feels in the summer.

I <3 my latex mattress. I bought it years ago from memoryfoam.com when it was mark's half price bedding. I got it at a steal - $750 for Queen 6" Talalay (35 ILD). I'm only ~150 so 6" of support was enough, although I'm thinking about adding another 3" underneath.

Have a Costco MF king topper & love it, sleep so goood.

The Lady Aphrodite likes it so much she got on

She didn't like it & returned it, lumpy brick as mentioned above.

Maybe we needed to walk on it?

Would you recco memory foam, latex foam or the Tempurpedic for a bed that 'shakes' less? My wife has finally had it with my restless moving in the night and the shaking of the bed (from my moving) constantly wakes her. We need something that will not shake when I'm rolling around at night.

She looked at a memory foam mattress yesterday and wants it ($3k). Of course, she does not research anything; she just buys. The store says you can return it for exchange within six months but I prefer to buy the right mattress the first time.

Bought a 10" california king memory foam mattress from healthyfoundations.com back in 2008.

I recommend it for sure. The foam density seems just right and it hasn't shown any signs of wear yet. Way better than a spring mattress and probably a much better value than the "leading" brand.

All of them will shake less than a coil mattress because they're all foam...just different types of foam. You can even get memory foam on top of a latex core!

Personally I think memory foam feels creepy and hot and is hard to fuck on...but a lot of people love it.

I can't remember which brand my bed is, but I know it's memory foam and cost about 2k. Best money I have ever spent. I hope to never have to sleep on a normal mattress again.

too many bed threads going on in TGR...crazy. In the end, the best bed is the bed that feels the best and fits your budget. To a degree, you get what you pay for, however I own a bed store and don't sleep on a 10k dollar mattress. In my opinion, Tempur is as good as it gets for that "non shake". Motion seperation is what sets them apart. I sell latex, innerspring, Tempur, regular memory foam, and air and overall I have the best success with Tempur.

also of note is that all people sleep differently. Some people LOVE Tempurpedic while the next guy won't like it at all. I hear horror stories about innersprings from some people and others have had a Beautyrest for 15 years and couldn't be happier. Everyone is different when it comes to beds.

It's really great to have a maggot with 'inside' info.
    Thanks!
