Thread: Mt. Baker Film Festival TGR/T-3

Thursday, October 23rd, Mt. Baker Film Festival.

We'll be showing part of TGR's High Life and Theory-3's FOCUS, with a 21+ slideshow at the Wild Buffalo afterwards showcasing some local photogs such as GrantGunderson.com. BBQ at my place before hand, so if anybody is going to be in the area, lemme know. Everybody should try and make it up.

Oh yeah, I'll be manning the Theory-3 table outside the theatre before and after the show, so stop by and say hello and buy a copy of the movie.

So what time does this festival begin? Is it at the PAC at WWU again?

Last year, part of Ski Movie III was supposed to be shown and they showed the trailer. Are you planning on showing more of High Life than this? Will we be expected to watch another documentary on Mt. Baker installing lift towers?

I'll probably make the trip up for this, just for the hope of seeing DINMS harrassing Bakerboy at his table and calling him a 'damn jibber'.

Whoops, it'll be showing at the Mt. Baker Theatre, show starts at 8pm I think. Bigger/nicer venue. I hope they weren't pissed at us for leaving the beer cans at the Matchstick show. Anyhow.

Not sure how much of TGR will be shown, but FOUCS has been specially edited down to 20 minutes for this showing, but the full movie is about 40 minutes long. No, hopefully no stupid, crappy documentaries on a lift installation that nobody wants, since they didn't put a new one in this summer. And hopefully no vids of retards on sleds going across an empty field. Neat.

And yes, I'm sure DINMS will be there flipping shit. Then again, he usually shuts up in person. Funny how the internet works.

I guess I'll have to go even though the closest I am to the big screen is the cutting room floor.

Well, you've successfully exploited tele as a "license to suck" and now as a "license to loiter".... When can we expect you to utilize it as a "license to get laid"? I mean, you ARE the big pro skier now, right?

Dunno who's playing fiddler, but either mbs or myself should have extra copies of Focus if you want to get one.

Thanks for posting this. I would have made it, but am outta town right now. Back next week, so too bad the timing didn't work. Plan to get up there early in the season, hopefully with some other Seattle area mags in tow. Sounds like an awesome time.
