FS: cheap mtn bike forks (SS conversion? townie beater?)

Clearing out the bike storage: short-travel elastomer forks. Both are 1 1/8" threadless forks from circa 1995-1998. Make an offer.

    1) RockShox Quadra (5 or 10? dunno), 7 1/4" steerer, threadless, star-fangled nut in steerer. V-brake and canti compatible (cantilever hanger on fork brace). Not disc brake compatible. Maybe 1-1.5" travel.

    2) Manitou SXR, 7 1/4" steerer, threadless, star-fangled nut in steerer. V-brake compatible only (no cantilever hanger, no disc mounts). 2" travel. This fork is actually really nice, plush, smooth. Perhaps the best Manitou fork I've had, over a long history of them.

It's yours. Send me a PM.

The Park truing stand is not for sale. I'll part with the wax drippings for cheap though.

Somebody take the Rock Shox. Free. C'mon, you know you want it...

Our world is full of surrender at the first sign of adversity, do not give up when the challenge meets you, meet the challenge. Through perseverance comes the rewards, the rewards that make life so enjoyable.

GGH may have to pass on the Manitou due to threaded/threadless issues...

So it may be available again. Anyone want it?

Quad 5. 10's had fixed topcaps with a little rubber plug (no adjustability), and Q21's had bolt-on crowns.
