WTB - Marker Duke - hook a brotha up
Anyone out there with a proform hookup that refuses to ride Markers no matter how good they are (or just cant afford them)?
I know I need a pair of Dukes next year.
Can't see paying full price.
I won't tell if you won't. PM me for discreet transaction.
Will pay upfront if you are a respected maggot.
- Anyone know what proform and shopdeal prices are for these?
- When do Marker orders have to be in for next year - e.g., what is the deadline?
Thanks,
PS - commence thread cunting about the evils of selling proform purchases and how it undermines the entire industry, cheats the shops, threatens world peace and enables bin laden."Fakers are Maggots" - T. Hall, 2011
heh
only a fake Rasta could make a claim like that

Put me in line after Core Shot. I've already put out a couple of feelers but the couple of people I know have them got one offs. If anyone wants to trade I've got a NIB set of 04/05 916s I'll put up.

I want a pair too, let the flooding of the market w/ dukes begin

Even if it is a Marker, the duke looks like a pretty sweet set up, would be nice to get away from a weak plastic AT pos binder, or the other wonderfull option of carrying day wreckers with you everywhere so you can at least have some burly 16's, I would be interested in some dukes as well.

give me some feedback on how to work this out
If i were to put together a goup buy for the duke through my ski shop what would be fair. The bindings arent available until the fall. If I made a smokin deal should I require 50 percent down. I dont want to get burned and be stuck with 100 extra dukes in my shop. Give me some feedback on how to do it and keep the good maggot deal sort of on the down low!

You could have them send money orders for $5000 and have their associates pick up the bindings. Then you could send a check for the balance back to them. I've heard this works in other countries.

I think a downpayment is entirely reasonable. To be fair, I'd vary it based on how much of a profit margin you were intending to take. I.e., if you're selling them through at your cost, you should get the entire nut up front -- people can sack up or fuck off, because there's no reason you should lose money based on the time value. If you're being a total mensch and taking, say, 10% for your troubles, I think 50% down is entirely reasonable.

Realistically, what price range are we talking? I am conditionally interested ... assuming my Canadian location can be accomodated.
