They just brought out an IPA thats fukin awesome. Beats the hell out o the amber. Goes great with Tying flies while watching Ullr crap all over Juneau.

Sick, the pale is one of my favorites and you can never go wrong with their winter ale. I wish we could get that shit here in Utah. It sucks to have to drive to Evanston to pick some up.

Alaskan Brewing's beers suck ass. Try the Haines Brewing Co. or the Hop Monster from Glacier Brewhouse in Los Anchorage if you want the real deal.

I fully agree with the above statement. I think I would rather drink piss weak ass hich life than suffer through anything from that terrable brewery.

Their Smoked Porter is good. All their other beers seem pretty pedestrian.

agreed - Smoked Porter is good. Forgot about that one. It gets better when it's allowed to age a year or two or three.

Agree with the Haines beer. Thier Black Fang Porter (I think thats what its called) is fuking great. I am not a Alaskan fan (although i do live in Juneau) but this new IPA is pretty fuking good.
