'04 Tahoe Summit website launched!!!
Zat's right all you boys/girls, men/women, and dogs/cats....the official 2004 PowderMaggot Tahoe Summit Website has been launched![/trumpets]
The official site is: www.snibbor.net/tahoe
The website serves as a centralized location to get all of your Tahoe Summit related info. Ski schedule, lodging, apres ski events, sponsors/supporters, etc., etc. Hopefully by having everything in one bookmarkable spot, it will eliminate the need to dig through countless threads on multiple websites to get the beta you need.
The site is in it's infancy, so much of the content and info. will gradually be filled in over the coming months as I'm sure most of what's there right now will change.
The itineray that's up there now is not set in concrete...it's only freaking October! And whatever 'final' version makes it's way up there in the coming months, I'm sure there will always be splinter groups of maggots doin their own thang which of course is cool.
Special, ultra, sooper-dooper, thanks go out to Innominatus and Snowsprite for helping with this thang! There's no way this would have gotten up in such short time (a week?) w/o their help and hard work. When you bump into them at the Summit, be sure to offer to buy them the beverage of their choice!
And lastly, be sure to check out the 'sponsors' section, click through to our friends websites, and browse around. There's not too much up there right now...but just hang on! Be sure to support those who are going to be supporting us....'cause it's a big 'ol crazy circle 'o life here.
what else, what else...ummmm, oh yeah! And a charity fundraiser is being worked on as well, and there will also be backcountry information posted as the dates get closer too. I think that's it for now....except, for one last, big, bring the walls down....

Excellent design. Where's TS? Oh that's right, the Aspen Gay Ski thing is going on then. I guess I'd better go to the maggots summit, otherwise you might think I'd be at the Aspen Gay Ski thing w/ TS.

grrr, I had just written a post and it didn't get posted. Hate when that happens!
Anyway, the jist of it was that Innomatus should get the real kudos on the design here. I had one done up but when I saw his I was like "let's go with that!" He has a real eye for design :-) It's amazing how quickly this site was organized and done. I've seen web teams labor for months over sites that didn't come out half as good. Guess it goes to show that you work best when it's something near and dear.
I'm going to do updates and such, so if you guys have suggestions/additions/ideas please email TahoeSummit04@yahoo.com and we will keep the site evolving & growing.
I am getting very excited about my first trip to ski on real powder snow!!!

Cool...thanks guys. Yeah this is gonna be a totally evolving thing, so if you have any suggestions & what not, please offer 'em up.
Also, the 'attendee' list on the site was just lifted from that old thread on the Chatter board and isn't really current. Once I get my ass in line, I'll through the list I have and update it appropriately.
Also REMEMBER --> those who have pics from the past 2 summits...we're going to want them! Be nice to have a little Summit history section on the page.....Waste your time, read my crap, at:

There should probably also be a 'thing' regarding the Stickers, maybe have the submissions and then run a poll on which one is most popular

That's a mighty nice site. You can add me to the maybes so far. Difficult question though, what will the sticker and forum people be called? Are we still maggots?

Hey, glad you guys like the look. I was thinking it was pretty rough, actually.
As always if you want to be on the list, shoot Tyrone an email. Eventually, possibly even within a week or two, Sprite or I will add ya.
Oh yeah, the site could use some B&W stoke photography from previous Summits (*cough*Lego!* cough*). If anybody wants to see their work up there, say the word...

Nice work!
I'm amped already.
I do have an idea that may or may not pan out:
How about a section for people looking to hook-up for sharing rental cars, rooms, etc. (a list of email addy's perhaps? I dunno) Maybe locals that can provide transport to and from Reno or other NorCal locations.
