Thanks (again), LeeLau!
This is a great resource. Thanks for all the sorting and gathering work, instead of dozens of bookmarks we can keep it simple with this mini-library.

You don't see classes prescheduled in November because to teach a good class you need some snowpack to go study and that isn't always guaranteed in many parts of the state.

Anyone have a link for a glossary of abbreviations used to relay pit results? I know some of them, but others leave me perplexed. If anyone knows of somewhere with a comprehensive list, that would be greatly appreciated!

bump for a thread full of great info. The article on heuristic traps in group decision making is linked on page one, worth a read if you haven't.
And to add this thread on what to do if you are caught. Karl spoke of Theo's chart this spring, how when he showed it to a Swiss researcher who had deeply investigated what happens to objects in a slide, the researcher was amazed how accurate Theo's theories were. The blues has always been about taking your problems and turning them into something you can dance to, drink to and fuck to.
We're certainly not a blues band in any kind of purest sense, but to me Rock and Roll has always had it's roots in that tradition.
