Homesteading....
Hey, Owens, mind if I pitch my tent over there, off to the side a bit?
Looks kinda cozy, not too close to the fire, and I might be far enough off to get a good night's sleep when the kids start partying.
But I think it's close enough that I can join the fun when I'm in the mood.
Wake me if you see a bear, please.

Hmmmmm, if there's a mass migration, someone could really screw things up by registering all of the powdermag names. Most of the maggots have already registered, but there bmust be a few big ones left.

On the other hand, new names are nice sometimes...
(woodsy, myself, Poacher, Juan, etc)

damn,
go for a quick peak bag to find the campsite has filled up.
y'all seem like good folks tho. I dont even go to the public campsite anymore except to take the occasional crap when the wilderness toilet gets rank.

Today really upset me on powmag. I year, 1000 posts (lots of inane drivel for sure) but I'm out. I loved that place, but I feel sick to my stomach, cheated on, I don't know. I'm not interested in going back though. This is the last "Clack" post you'll see by the way. Hopefully we can make something nice here. Talk with you soon.

Fact is, it needs moderation. Not fascist moderation, but just enough. That's the sound of a bottle when it's hollow
When you swallow it all
Wallow and drown in your sorrow
And tomorrow you're probably gonna wanna do it again
What's a little spinal fluid between you and a friend, screw it
Whats a little bit of alcohol poisoning?
Whats a little fight?
Tomorrow you'll be boys again
It's your life live it however you wanna
Marijuana is everywhere, where was you brought up?
It don't matter as long as you get where you're goin'
Cause none of this shit's gonna mean shit where we're goin
They tell you to stop but you just sit there ignorin'
Even though you wake up feelin' like shit every morning
But your young you got a lot of drugs to do
Girls to screw, parties to crash, sucks to be you

The place is just a circus out of control. New people feel they need to go over the top to be noticed. DINMS in response is posting fake drunk posts to compete for attention and the threads with the most responses have to do with hairbrushes in people's asses.
The kicker for me was when some oversensitive new people who weren't immediately accepted had their feelings hurt decided to trash the board with disgusting gay porn all over the place. I should be working more anyway, socking away some money for the season. (Quitting Jan 2 ) I'll come here to talk skiing. Powmag's lost its magic.
btw- that clack guy sure is a puss taking it so personally.

These things seem to have cycles. Running boards is wierd. I do a few others besides this one. Some just take off, some are hard to get rolling, some get the right vibe and manage to keep it, and some go to hell in a hand basket. I'm kind of baffled at the lack of traffic on this board. Our site gets SHIT TONS of traffic, yet people haven't bought into the board in a big way. I dunno it's a meestery.
