The baby loves the skis too, as soon as she saw them she had to crawl right on top of them and drool. I can't wait till she's old enough to put her on a pair of her own.
    Right backatcha man.

Two thumbs up to this JONG!

Bought some brakes off of slave2gravity, probably the easiest quickest transaction I've ever had on gearswap. Solid!

Also, Dantheman is solid for taking back a pair of skis that I wasn't completely satisfied on the condition of, and was good about commo. Definately another solid mag.

    Props to BeanDip4All

I get home from an after-work bike ride and have a box sitting on my back stoop. I was kinda expecting to receive the skis sometime this week, but not in a box big enough to ship myself back to NY in.

And enough bubble wrap to make me comfortable in the cargo hold:

Big thanks for the hookup. These will be perfect for icy days 'round these parts.

Can I have the box? I need a big ass box to ship some skis and I was gonna make magic with duct tape, bubble wrap, and cardboard scraps but that might be just the thing, let me know, i could pay for you to ship it to me

Spankthepow sent me a bike at a great deal and split shipping with me. Then he refunded me ten more bucks 'cause shipping was cheaper than he thought. Good communication and fast shipping.

Wes - because they go by outer dimensions as well as weight, I think the box would cost about the same to ship full or empty. So unless it's worth $30 to you, you're probably better off finding a water heater box or something like that.

    Wes,

I hit up the UPS store, $12 for a ski box. I used it to ship a muzzleloader but saved the other half for some kids skis that will hit gear swap later this summer/fall.

Bandit Man was overly conservative in describing the extremely minor flaws in what were essentially a very clean pair of AK Rockets.

Daywalker- just hooked me up with a sweet jacket for a killer deal, and even threw in a ski bag after someone else backed out. PROPS to him.

Summit- Great transaction last year for some sticks. Arrived as described and had good communication along the way.

Rulethe Rock- Thanks for the props above, it was also a great transaction on this end. Glad you're enjoying the stove.
