72Twenty is, as all the non-Jongs probably already know, on top of things, and definitely someone I would buy/trade/sell with again. I bought a pair of BC Scratches from him last week, he was upfront about their condition, had them ready to go waiting for my check, and sent them out promptly. They arrived sooner than I expected and exactly how he described them. He was also willing to field my admittedly ignorant questions.

And props to him and all who are willing to give a JONG like myself a chance to play too; I'd love to talk skiing online all day (when not skiing), but sadly other things consistently get in the way.

davep was great doing biz with.
    bisnibble added to list.
    C.O. Jones is another!
    azzure promptly sent some goodies.

+1 and thanks to Caucasian Asian for hooking me up, low post count JONG that I am. And props to ACHTUNG for the sweet deal and fast shipping. 72twenty for the free pants didn't charge shipping even to AK. And I would be remiss not to mention NHtele who sold me a watch that arrived broken and a refund was promptly issued. This place truly is a community and I'm glad to have found it.

Not even a year yet and I was welcomed by most of the collective and made several great deals, met new friends and wasted many a hours on these boards. My list of those that I can remember doing business with.
DePierre, you never forget your first
Summit, I'll take your cast offs any day
    Axebiker, Class
Steven S. Dallas, great deal and the most excellent referance for the elusive Mantras
Splat, when my order got a little sideways he/they made it very right
Gunnison? my first tele set up, my new addiction.
Yabyum, ok this was my first tele set that made want the above tele set
    Bmxbandit, great deal on pants
    Cascadianwarrior, Free delivery!!
    Teleknees, you all know why
Inspectorgadget, Kokopelli and Blood Sweat and Steel. No deals with them but first class Mags all the way.
I know I missed others, and I didnt even mention all the stuff I personaly sold here, gotta love the new storage space for PMs, now I can save messages from people that I have worked with.
    Cheers

in spite of a few bad apples here,
my experiences in gear swap have all been
    very good to excellent.

this list will grow, as i gather up all the names, but some recent great transactions have come via:

lexi-bell : from whom i'm to receive today an undrilled pair of explosiv 2's
these gems originally entered the community via...
gamma : received 997 toes for parts cheap and quick...as well as an undrilled pair of lacroix powder IX that arrived exactly ONE DAY after paypal sent
motobeak : set me up with the holy grail (for me), a pair of minty 190 W105s for a very nice price :
comish : set me up with a minty pair of 170 W105s...hope your knee is healing well!
jersey powder : minty 183 axioms for $100 delivered to my place of work
mtlion : quick turnaround on brakes for all my ski purchases
sorry bro : 190 K2 'sploders..now one of my favorite skis
rip : set me up with a nice granite pack...was very honest+informative about pros and cons of the pack (it's worked out well for ski carry...as well as for carrying a day's worth of beers on the chairs )

    edit:
some other good maggots to deal with from further back in time:
vanisle: set me up with my second pair of W9.1FFs
safety squad : set me up with cheap turntable toes for brakes
maniloff : set me up with a minty pair of rossi ski boots i used all season
skadams.ca : was super patient while i waited for the tax refund that would fund my purchase

    thanks all!

make things right, ye jesse joneses of the world,
or face a lifetime of maggot misery

bossass : the source of my first waxing iron...no more getting re-melted wax on my shirts

skis were shipped to me promptly by cooltsi
they were traded for bindings with Skidog
I think adam sent me a duct tape wallet I never used.
Don't think I've had any other transactions here.
    No longer stuck.

Even as a jong lowlife I'm impressed by the community here. I've been ripped off on the interwebz a few times for more money than I'd like to admit and it's great to know people here stick together and subsequently lynch scammer assholes together. If anyone is ever dicking a maggot around in the greater Western Mass area or relatively nearby, put me on it. It would be my honor and privelege to extend the reach of the maggot code enforcement crew. I know my post count is bullshit but hey we all have to start somewhere, right?

Beaterd is the fucking man. He went out of his way to pick up a pair of rare skis for me and shipped them quicklike before I even paid. Excellent communication and +100000000 maggot points for being the man. FKNA

The baby loves the skis too, as soon as she saw them she had to crawl right on top of them and drool. I can't wait till she's old enough to put her on a pair of her own.
