Bindings
Yea, so i made the mistake of posting this in the ski/snowboard section, and all i got was sarcasm, so hopefully it will be better here, im getting the 07 armada t-halls and i would like to know what bindings go good with them. Im 6'1 180lbs, and ive been skiing for about 12 years now.
Thanks

read the recommended skis/bindings list. basically, "not markers" is the best answer. get looks or sollys

The reason you were met with sarcasm is not necessarily because you posted in the wrong forum, but because there is already such a wealth of information on that topic here, that asking and expecting an answer is similar to walking into a library and asking the librarian a specific question on the Revolutionary War and expecting them to make you tea and really deliver a good dissertation. Simply searching on "t-hall" returns the Recommended Skis and Bindings thread.
SEARCH.

Pretty much any binding will work as long as the DIN goes to 8.

If you are looking to save some coin and still get a good binding, watch for deals on closeouts like when Sports Authority (formerly Gart's) does their Salomon S912's for like $99. Like at the Sniagrab sale, etc.
Basically, you want all metal housings, din to at least 12, perhaps 14 (even if you still set them at 9 or 10 in most cases). If you want to save weight, stay away from riser plates and all the shock absorbing doo-hickies. Just get a basic toe piece and heel piece that are independent of each other.
I vote for Salomon, but Look/Rossignol are a close second in my book.

I'm trying to figure out what to do with some 12 DIN Solly 997s I have. I may be selling the skis that they're on, but I'm waiting to ski my Lotuses (which won't get here for a week or two) to decide if I'll sell them.
If I sell them, I think the 997s would be perfect for you (I'm assuming the t-hall is a park ski, so your DIN doesn't warrant an all-metal binding). Again, this will be a couple weeks from now [/anti-jinx]."I said flotation is groovy"

Dude just get anything that isn't a marker, has a DIN range that allows you to not have to set it to its highest/lowest DIN, and that you can get a deal on. Buy beer with the money saved.
