Thread: More Tahoe angst

OK, so that Tahoe trip I planned months ago may not be looking like such a good move. But whatever, that's where I'm going to be 29 Jan - 9 Feb. I'll have transport and staying south lake - so mostly skiing kirkwood I think but hope for a day each at Alpine and squaw if possible. Anyone going to be skiing there at that time who wouldn't mind showing johnny-foreigner around your local ski area? Any opps for day tours?

Fly to Reno
Rent car
Drive to Utah Mini

not an option - Tahoe trip is sorted and paid for, so that's it! At least it sounds better than Europe.....although it snowing here in Scotland right now.

I will likely be at Alpine over the weekend you're in Tahoe.

i'll be there this weekend for sure, but next weekend I may be able to persuade my dad to go, if it snows, but if it doesn't it's not worth the drive

if it only snows a little- it's not worth the drive. the valley of the squaws is in pretty bad shape right now...
