such an amazing cover (skynard- simple kind of man)
This band Shinedown, a rock band, came to Boston and recorded a version of simple man by lynard skynard. They said it was a spur of the moment kind of thing, so if you hate it, don't worry, it's not on their cd or anything. Anyway the song has been #1 requested all month, it's just so well done and so powerful. I really love it, and you will too.

Hmmmmm....didn't honestly find it that striking The original is so timeless, it's a hard one to tackle, me thinks. I do like the simplicity of this version, though.Originally posted by dipstik

I guess you are right. Don't forget though that I am a youngin' and the first time I heard this on the radio I had no idea it was a cover. Maybe that's why I'm partial to itOriginally posted by The Reverend Floater
