    Zappa Plays Zappa: Seattle 12/22/06

    It had been a long time coming. And hours of study, practice, rehearsals, scales, recitals as well as haggling with vampires in suits, I'm sure the Zappas and band members can't begin to account for all the work.

    But fuck n a what a show. It absolutely rawked beyond belief. Franks old wrenched blues came out among all the jazz signatures and weirdo avant garde farting around. Steve Vai was in his element and he and everyone in the bands really seemed to be having a great time. Vai is truely a viruoso mutant on guitar. And Dweezil just fucking killed playing that mad, blues extracted twisted, mad figures. The band was so clean, clear and exact.

    After a day at old Crustal, hiking the King 3 times with some stranger and showing him the pow stashes, what a capper to a day of abundance.

    Thanks to the band members and the Zappas for putting on an incredibly magic show with zircon encrusted tweezed eyebrows.

    ZPZ will play 100 shows in the next year. If you cl0wns don't bother to see it, you suck.
