WTB: Salomon brake arms
Anyone got a full set of 115mm brake arms for me? mntlion's run out and I will need a set for fat Bros. I don't need the housing, just the arms to save postage.
P.S. I'd bend myself but I've got no tools to do this. I got one straight using a couple of bike seat posts but I will never get the right bend in it without a vise. Too much space/play in the seat posts and nothing else gives me the leverage I need (i.e. vise grips suck).

I have a bunch of extra arms. One is made for a 95mmish ski, if that would help you.
Seriously though, you can easily bend brakes with only a seatpost. Go grab a sixer and put some effort into it, im sure you'll get it. You really can't screw up...Drive slow, homie.

a handlebar also works (actually, they are the best thing to use, unless you have a 2-3foot section of yakima bar...)

Or just convince marshal to make a helmetcam video bending brakes. Dude has that shit on speed dial.
Helmet cam instructional videos? I may be on to something here.
Drive slow, homie.

Well, I bent one skinny brake straight with two seat posts. It's putting the bend back in that is difficult. The end with the plastic can be held easily in a pipe, but the other end that fits in the brake housing with the bends in it - how do you hold that? I can see it would be easy with a vise, but if I grab that end with vise grips the bends make it so you have to grab it off centre.

Not scared of breaking the brake arms, but the housing. I've got plenty of spare brake arms. I already permanently bent some of the plastic.
I guess I'm just being a pussy
