    Gauging interest: Trials/DJ bike

I've got a planet-x zebdi built up as a stock trials bike in like new condition - that's been sitting in my basement for the last year and a half. It's got nice stuff like maguto hydro brakes in the rear, xt hubs, planet-x fork, sun rhino lite rims, etc. I looking to get around $350 or so for it, I realize it's the wrong time of the year and I might hang on to it until spring, but if anyone is interested I can post some photos.

The white stuff on the bike is dust, I put packing tape around the chainstay to stop the slap and put a chain guard on top of that. I said like new, but looking at the bike there's a few small scrapes in the paint from moving, but nothing worth noting. Also, when I got the bike I noticed the cranks weren't tight. I've since loctited everything and they've been ok, but it has a race face freeride BB and truvative cranks, the guys at the shop said the isis stuff was finiky when it came to a tight fit, and the cranks weren't overtorqued like you can do with a square taper set-up, I don't think it's an issue for playing around, but if you're going to go big you might want to get a new BB..

Those bikes have the coolest paint job on any "mtb" frame ever. A buddy of mine rides one and it's all I can do to not stare at it all day.

    That's a killer deal.

could you run a 3" DJ fork on that or would that make the front end really tall?

Luc rides one of those with a 4" fox. It's fine. Pretty damn fun actually.

that's a great deal for that bike. I guess the zebdi isn't made anymore, but it's a really nice street frame. You might want to post it up on observedtrials.net, I know some people were looking for them recently over there.

I'll post up there tonight. Also have a new rear wheel I'll throw in (XT/Rhino Lite) with it. Or interested in trades for skis or bike parts.

Cool bike, I saw someone riding one just like that with the same fork last week in town. BUT I would say that at 13 inches the bottom bracket is quite high for a dirtjump bike. To each his own, but I would say that for dirtjumping that is kind of a sketchy proposition.

I don't know if it would make the front end too tall, but the BB would again be extremely high.

Not trying to thwart your attempt to sell the thing, but I'd hate to see someone get it and be dissapointed. Feel free to disagree.

Oh and I have ridden one. Good street trials bike.
