Was nice to meet HBR and Sammich. First time skiing with the AD, even though we'd met before. Maggots generally seem to be the same everywhere. Cool people with varying degrees of good skiing ability. Everyone out there could rip. Sammich is the real deal -- Pollard, if you see this you two guys need to get together -- almost identical styles. For any doubters out there, the Sammich can lay 'em down! I say we all aim for a weekend at Baker sometime in March. An apres at casa de Rusty for pizza, brew and the hot tub is always open on the weekends.

Baker march? Pre-summit?
No.

Yep, we had the largest festering of the PNW Slug chapter of magnions ever. Except possibly for race night.
Grinicious meeting the ethereal and nonsurreal samwich and his very coowell papa, skiing with Srm and Rm Tibaher, visiting VtSkiDood. The snow could have been better, but at least we found some fresh, even on the last run @1:30. Now, just erase your stash memories, eh?Merde De Glace On the Freak When Ski

It wasn't my day for good multimedia karma. Here's an admittedly poor shot of the Maggots Slug Chapter somewhere in the Crystal southback:

Those in the know will be able to identify the prominent peak in the background, but it should be sufficiently foggy to keep Buster's stash secrets safe
Actually all the lines we skied were like the wind buff in the foreground. Yeah, that's it.

Late March at Baker.
We'll figure out exact dates later. We need to get a Baker local to be the project officer on this thing.

Sounds good. There's a Super-G at the mtn. on 3-27 and 3-28, which I will probably be volunteering at, but that shouldn't get in the way of a good mini.
Count me in for whichever weekend you guys want to come up. I can help organize, but I'm no Buzzworthy, so don't expect dancing girls, fireworks or rent-a-sheep.Living vicariously through myself.

Please pick dates soon.
I'm filing for leave around that period, and I was thinking about going back to Bozangles to ski Bridger and Big Sky for awhile, and then finishing off with a few days @ whistler. Obviously Whistler and Baker are compatible, but Montucky and Baker are not.
I have some training 10-12 Mar...after that it's on.
Hopefully I won't get deployed anywhere between now and then. Almost happened last week. Stupid South Carolina. At least I'd have a good tan...but that's not worth an entire ski season.
When you guys hike O/B...how fast are you as hikers?
btw, what happened to Optics...he dropped away awhile ago.Last edited by Jumper Bones; 02-10-2004 at 03:20 AM.

And pollard, I'll be there one of those days too, maybe both.
You gonna be there March 12-14th as well (freeride comp)?

Would you let some Oregon in on this? I'm down and I bet Viva would want to come, too. Perhaps we could even drag some of the Bachy folks up and call it a PNW summit.Daniel Ortega eats here.
