It's actually just off the skintrack halfway up the ramp, headin' to the north. I just happened upon the scene and tried to snap a picture, but it was pretty foggy out. He went huge though, he took off from way back in the trees then barely cleared the landing.
Great stable skiing in the Bridgers right now, I really like this heavier snow.

it puked today. First hike out, right before the real storm rolled in...
hiking to the top.

Me getting stoked on the new spatulas.

Not as steep as anticipated.

My buddy matt getting some soft turns on the 4th finger.

tomorrow is going to be ill, and I get to drive to spokane instead.

So....today was awesome. Not only was the snow great, but this is six weeks and five days after my knee surgery and I was out skiing The Nasties and Hidden. Coming down the far north side of NW was $$$ this afternoon.

Everything was $$$$$ today!
First hike my son meets some of his friends, so I tag along behind them down the O's. They rip down and stop above a sizeable drop(at least for me who likes to keep my skis on the ground). First one off-switch 180, next-front flip, next 360, next 360, next straight huck, next straight huck. Then I'm alone (thinking to myself oh shit) so I go-next thing I know I've lost one ski and plowing snow with my face. I knew better too, at least it was soft. Hope you kids at least got a good laugh.
BBRidgeKid thought it was good today.

Feeling good on Steamroller.

It's been awhile since our last storm.

It's been pretty good lately at BB. Not much sunshine, but we took a pic or two here and there. I just got some Dukes yesterday and did some extensive testing today. So far I haven't been able to make them fall off

Testing the dins out:

Made it up there at the crack of noon, hiked three times before calling it a day. Hit up Bridger Gully, Colter's, and Sluice (which was virtually untouched, couldn't pass it up). Didn't have to make it out to NW passage, should still be sick though. D-route not open yet. Faceshots were had, shit-eating grins all around. Sorry no pics!

Sounds good Skid. I don't have to be anywhere till late afternoon, so I was thinking about doing some skinning. There are a few things I'd like to investigate to the south that aren't likely to be tracked yet. I'm trying to talk MT into it, but as of now I have no partner.

If D Route isn't open I may be skinning tomorrow AM. I ain't really fast, but I'm safe. PM me if you need a partner.

Had a great time up there today. Cruised up first thing and made a couple of lower mountain laps. Decided to head over to Sixth Grade for the first hike with BDR and SkidLux. The turns in the top were excellent, and the chute itself was about as wide as it gets. Just 2 tight spots.
BDR:

SkidLux:

About half-way down:

BDR enjoying the run:

At some point BDR decided it would be a good idea to point it from fairly high in the chute. Didn't really get much of an exit pic as he was moving at a high rate of speed, but the wheelie looks nice I think:

SkidLux cruising out the bottom:

Spent the next couple of hours cycling some hikes. Headed over to NW Passage and Kniel's and then decided to hit up a Mad Man's and take the traverse across. Found some quality snow. Once we hit the N. Bowl road I spied Telemarc up in some trees poking around. He hit a really cool line. Aeroplane turn from about where he is in the pic next to those trees and landed down where I put the red "x" in a great transition:

Decided it was time to take a short walk and see what we could find North. There was a interesting fin, so we checked it out. It's tough to see BDR in there, so I added another "x" for good measure:

It's been a while since BB has been at 100" for base. Lots of potential with everything filled in.
