Thread: PNW maggots, go make some turns

From the Summit's powder alert:
GET SOME!!! We have had 4" in the last 12hrs & we won't get the numbers till after 9am for Alpental, but it should be pretty good over there.
The low temps have made for some really good conditions lately & the snow is still coming down pretty heavy! The back country should be sick today! Get some turns in before you head in to work.

I am bummed I can't go, day's full of meetings I can't escape, up to 4pm Yesterday morning was really nice and this should be at least as good.

I won't. I teach at Alpental on Sundays, and drive my kids up there for their lessons too. Saturdays is the only day I have free for doing stuff. Hopefully we'll plan a maggot gathering on a Saturday (2/28 is my first free). It's tough to manage a busy life with only 4 to 5 times of skiing a week

Crash - even though Sunday is the semi-official meeting day, there still should be several folks around Crystal on Saturday.

Damn that's tempting. I have a day-with-the-whole family scheduled on that day though (morning at Alpy and then Pacific Science museum with the 3 little ones). I'll see if I can get by not doing it, but since they haven't seen me for more than 2 hours at a time in a month (at least) it ain't a slam-dunk.
