Moab this weekend 10/6-10/8
Anytakers? Kabuki and I will be there. Prolly roll in late Thursday night. Thinking about renting Motos one day and pedaling the rest.
A gay-rage full of toys. You can guess em.

Better take note that UPS is now CLOSED, illegal and the FS is ticketing users. FUcking LAME on their part, the whole town is up in arms. It will change but we probably need to stay off of it until the smoke clears. We did Kokopelli down twice; you still get LPS and the rest is the rest.

WOULD IT!?!"

Shit! Are you serious!??!??? I suppose it was going to happen sooner or later, but damn... well, at least LPS is in "open travel" country, so that'll stay open, MPS is probably still questionable (but not sure)...
Maybe this is good news and it will be reopened later in a legit form away from the archeologically sensitive areas along the trail and will feature some cool stuff like Hazard v2.0... not that v1.0 wasn't the poop....
We'll see how it plays out up there in the LaSalles...

^^ f) backflip over the entire section and ride the remaining skid-fest descent to the road.... switch... err, until the climb anyway... I mean, nobody is that good...

Hmmm...that could be interesting. Hang a right at the top of the notch, air the cliff, and then land on the skid-fest descent. You should guinea pig it for me.

MPS is closed too. We tried cutting in there from Sand Flats, but they had the closed sign there once you ride out that sandy doubletrack to get there.
And both days there were government trucks parked hidden off the trail.
It's not that bad just riding Kokopelli to LPS. They should hurry up with the damn process and get UPS and MPS open soon though."Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow, what a Ride!"

I'll probably rally down this weekend. Somebody needs to show me how to get to LPS from Koko though. I'm clueless about that...only know the UPS entrance.
