have y'all seen this pass from a-basin?

    $249 i believe

unlimited basin days, no blackouts either

    5 days @ breck

    1 day @ vail

    1 day @ silverton!

    that ain't bad!

the basin crushes keystone and breck, tho 5 days @ breck will do fine...vail is easy as hell to sneak onto...plus a day @ silverton?

    holla!

is it that hard to check their website?

    $279.00

Bonus includes: 5 2006-2007 non-transferable ski days at Keystone or Breckenridge. One ski day can be used at *Vail or Beaver Creek. Pass will be restricted at Vail and Beaver Creek Nov 24-25, 2006, Dec. 27-31, 2006 and Feb 17-18, 2007.
New this season - any A-Basin pass includes one ski day at Silverton Mountain, CO and 5 ski days at our sister resort Bear Valley in California. These added days are only valid for the pass holder.

In the winter Bear Valley is a pain in the ass to get to from Tahoe. You have to go down 50 or 88 and then over to and up 4. Not to bad from the valley or bay area. I have been there a few times now and have had some interesting experiences. For a small area, they have some pretty good terrain. The lower mountain is a lot of fun. Lots of side country potential but DON'T test their closed boundry policy....Can't wait to see the article in Powder (which I haven't gotten yet)

i might just buy that pass and plan a week long CO trip. I mean, that's as much as you'd drop in a week anyway right?

    hmmm.

edit: of course it is hard to consider spending money to leave the sweet sweet bosoms of Deseret. hmmm.

Pechelman, you're right. It's a way for the smaller areas to compete.

Monarch Mountain $279 (was $249) season pass
also gets you 3 days at Crested Butte, 3 days at Angel Fire and Pajarito, 1 day at Silverton, and 1/2 price tixs at Alta!
