The Monarch Season Pass
now gets you this: http://www.skimonarch.com/season_pass_benefits.asp
Just when I thought I had the season pass situation all figured out for my wife and I, they go and throw in 3 free days at CB, 1 free day of unguided at Silverton, and half price tickets all season at Alta.Old's Cool.

hmmm...are there blackout dates or any restrictions?
Spending Xmas in CB with fam, always hit Alta a few times...
This might just be worth doing, however crazy it seems...

I live within 12 miles of Monarch & was gonna pick up the Colo pass instead. Those beni's do almost make it tempting though. If they up a couple more days at CB & S-ton I'd do it.
That place gets sooo boring in under 4 hours it kills me.
Disclaimer: Course I seem to have some kind of bad Ju-Ju there for some reason.

. Now you guys got me re-thinkin' everything. Even tho I kick myself every time I pay to go to Monarch.
OK. So CB's best deal is a Xcard 4 pak for $149 = $37 / day
and Silverton "off" season is $49
The amount of gas & time I'll spend going the 90 miles to Summit/Eagle cities 15 times =2,700 miles <90 gal. = $270 + 45 hrs>
plus havin' to go to front range to get $379 Colo. pass this weekend.
Boils down to:
CB compared at $37 x 3 = $111 (Not at all bad)
S-ton $49 (Gonna happen anyway)
Leaves $110 at Monarch --> need 6 days to get it to $20 or under (Meh)
Total miles to do all this = under 900 <30 gal = $90 + 15 hrs>
and plenty of BC days left over.
+ Time & gas saved = enough to go to Alta a couple times for the $26 tickets. (Yum)
and maybe I'll have some left for the Summit too.
The fuel / time thing is taking it's toll these days.
and you guys let me know when you're around too.

I'm def. getting the CO pass, but for the two of us to be able to ski together on the weekends, I'm not so sure what we're doing. I'd much rather not have to wait in lift lines down at Monarch on the weekends, but it's 15 miles to Breck and 70 to Monarch. But those benefits are pretty nice.
fyi- the pass office at Breck is open Sat & Sun this weekend from 9-5, so you don't have to drive to the front range to get the CO pass.Old's Cool.

Well, I'm poor lately, so I guess that makes me cheap.
