MMM, the Cheoah is fun. I'm glad they have releases on it now although there is a TON of carnage that happens on the lower section, the part below the little falls.

    I love this stuff. :
This is Tutea falls, on the Kaituna river, Near Rotorua New Zealand.

....not a snowball's chance in hell.

and, I really love the fact that people pay me to do this to them.

Haha. Gotta love the fact that there are no liability suits in Kiwi land. It makes the raft companies pretty fearless with what they take customers down.

How in the hell would a raft ever make it over that rightside up?

I love that part in SnoWhat were they push the raft off of the embankment and try to dive into it on the way down. "Did any of you make it in the raft?"

Thats because it's actually a wier. And at that particular water level it gets bad. At higher water it washes out.

No pics from on the water but I picked up this bit of carnage on the Ocoee a couple of weeks ago. (I'm now in the market for a full face helmet.)

I should probably change my username to IReallyDon'tTeleMuchAnymoreDave.

mmm yes, there are parts of the Ocoee where being upside down isn't such a fun experience. Nice shiner though!

    Hyalite Creek, MT.

My son's boat pinned vertically after his face, shoulder, thumb and knee met with some unfriendly rocks. His boat hung up on a snag first, then went vertical, then onto another snag. A Z-drag setup and an hour later we had the boat back, minus a broken paddle and his poagies.

Trying to rope that sucker with a throwbag rope!!!

Is that the River Rats boat? I did that bit of river in 1997 - we survived that drop...just. Happy memories.
