^^I dig the tandem-upside-down-kayaks in that pic. They're well synchronized.

Hey, shockgunner-
Did you ever try spraying armor all on those boats when the guide isn't looking?
Oh, I forgot to mention-
The caption used in post #14 also applies to the pictures in posts number 15 and 16.

Geoff, would that, by chance, be the weir on the Kaituna?

Since I caught others, I'll post a sequence of me.
Ok after the first drop, here comes the wave:
Watch the curler... uh o, he's airborne.
Uh, Is there a name for this move?
Upside down, upside down...
Time to roll
The rock says: "fuck no its not, get back under bitch, and while you're at it, bang your head on me upside down".
Ok, lets try this again..

My own bloody carnage
It was a great day at the WWC until the last run. Clinton (Ridinshockgun) was done for the day and went to take pictures since I was going to keep going. I thought I had it down, but I guess they don’t call it the big water channel for nothing…
Somewhere between here…
And here…
This happened…
I went to tuck when I thought I was going over the next drop and that is right about when I hit my right shoulder. I rolled up shortly after that. I have been worried about a shoulder injury in this area and have been meaning to get some sort of top to at least protect the flesh a little, but it’s too late now.
I had felt the impact, but it didn’t hurt too badly so I thought it was just a scrape like I had seen on some other people until I looked at my shoulder and saw the chunks of flesh hanging and blood flowing.
Before seeing the pictures, I thought I had hit the rock pile on the left or right directly after the M-wave like this…
Or this…
but now I am not sure where I hit since it looks like my right shoulder was facing upstream the whole way.
Thanks to Sarah Harper and the doctor who happened to be getting out of his boat when I pulled up for getting my wound temporarily patched up.
I headed off south towards that hospital in CLT, but when I realized I was okay, I turned around and went to the hospital in Winston so I would be close to home and my family if there was a problem.
Hold your food down because these are beautiful…
All stitched up now and still haven’t felt any pain (no pain meds either) so hopefully it won’t start hurting tomorrow. I will be off the water for some time, but hopefully I will get some more in before snowboard season arrives. On snow days for 05/06: 43

KW, that is the Kaituna.
Mark, that gash is awesome!
I think you should draw a smiley face onto the scar.

Mark, I think a day on the cold Nantahala would rid that cut of infection.

Yeah I wanted to get out on there before the snow season hits, but it will be fucking cold by the time my shoulder heals.

Wow, I just found a shot from one of my first ever pro trips, more than ten years ago.
The proper procedure for this rapid:
Step 1: Stay way right, to miss the rough part of the big hole.
Step 2: At all costs, Avoid the giant rock on the left.
The zebra was not pleased.

I just find this one funny. Its from AW's Cheoah (NC) page.
That's one hell of a yard sale.

Damn! I have seen more carnage footage coming out of that NC whitewater park since it opened than anything else! What gives?
