Question website building: how do I make a gallery?

I haven't been able to find any good resources about this topic.
http://gallery.menalto.com/ seems good although very complicated to install. I've also searched Webmonkey to no avail.

Any other good ideas out there for a simple to use gallery suitable for a website jong like me?

If you don't need it on your own website, why not just use something like Flickr or smugmug? They handle all the backend stuff, you just have to worry about the photos...

Do you realize that you've just posted an admission of ignorance so breathtaking that it disqualifies you from commenting on any political or economic threads from here on out?

I like Picasa. it's quick and easy.. here's what you end up with:

You can customize the colors/logos, etc if you need to pretty easily...

I have a couple installations of Gallery. It's really not that difficult just follow the documentation. 1.x is easier than 2.x if you don't know anyhting about databases.

I've been running gallery on my site for a while as well. 1.x was easier to set up and customize but 2.x has a ton of more advanced features. You do have to get a little dirty in the install process but it's all spelled out in the docs. Follow the directions and you'll be fine.
