website building: how do I make a gallery?
I haven't been able to find any good resources about this topic.
http://gallery.menalto.com/ seems good although very complicated to install. I've also searched Webmonkey to no avail.
Any other good ideas out there for a simple to use gallery suitable for a website jong like me?

I like Picasa. it's quick and easy.. here's what you end up with:
You can customize the colors/logos, etc if you need to pretty easily...Life is a lot like climbing: there isn't anything much more comforting than a good #2.

I have a couple installations of Gallery. It's really not that difficult just follow the documentation. 1.x is easier than 2.x if you don't know anyhting about databases.

I've been running gallery on my site for a while as well. 1.x was easier to set up and customize but 2.x has a ton of more advanced features. You do have to get a little dirty in the install process but it's all spelled out in the docs. Follow the directions and you'll be fine.
