Good pow day and Canada kicks ass in the moguls in Fernie

About 15 or 20 fresh this morn made for some great turns. Watched the freestyle mogul finals this aft. Canada was on the podium in both womens and mens....There was one gold....I'm not sure if it was in the womens or mens, Jim Schiman a Cranbrook born ripper, placed in the mens.... that's about it, it was tough to hear , windy and noisey and the booze was flowing pretty well at that point. A great day...........YEAH CANADA!!!!

Longtime listner first time caller here...

I only caught a couple runs over at the mogul comp. today. Pretty cool to watch but like you said here was some good fresh snow to play in today and we took full advantage. I woke up in Invermere, checked conditions and chose Fernie over Kicking Horse. Easy decision since Fernie got twice what fell on the Horse and I had a free day lined up for Fernie.

We had a great start to our day over in the Cedar bowl and then later on over in the Knot Chutes. Amazing sking all day, it's just a shame we had to fight through the shite road conditions to Calgary instead of camping out for more tomorrow. Ah well.. I have a feeling I'll be back again next weekend., things are looking good for more gifts from Ullr this week.
