    Help making an avatar small enough...

    I have tried and tried, but I cannot make this picture small enough to be an avatar without making it blurry beyond recognition.




    Some of yous guys have pretty fucking good pictures considering the limitations. Can anyone give me some advice or just whip it out real quick like for me?

    I have tried down to like 50x50 pixels, reduced color depth, and really high compression jpegs...but no dice getting in the acceptable KB range.

    How did you do that? I had the same problem with this image:



    But it always comes out blurry. Any help would be appreciated. I'd love toknow how you do it too.
