JONG airline ticketing Q (multiple destinations)
Looking for the cheapest plane ticket for my upcoming business/pleasure trip. Work will pay for all the work-related segments, but I have to cough up the difference for the pleasure segments...
Gots to be in London Jan 28-31 and Madrid Feb1-4, then alls good.
LAX-London-Madrid-LAX (Bidness part of the trip) = $850
LAX-London-Madrid-Geneva-LAX = $1800
LAX-London-Madrid-Geneva-Amsterdam-LAX = $200
How the fucking fuck does a detour through Geneva and/or Amsterdam add >$1k to the price of my ticket? Any suggestions for cheaper alternatives? I was thinking of just using Heathrow as a hub for cheap flights.....
LAX-Heathrow-Madrid-Heathrow-Geneva-Heathrow-Amsterdam-Heathrow-LAX.
Advice, Suggestions, telling me to go fuck myself, etc all welcome.
Thanks
Punani

Try diverting to Lyon instead of Geneve and using expedia?

Train from London to Amsterdam is only a few bucks (150/200) and it's fast a hell. Shit, half of Europe trains it to Amsterdam for weekend get aways.....there's my suggestion.

Don't forget to bring water and snacks. If you have a problem & think that someone else is going to solve it for you then you have two problems.

That's easy. Party in Madrid with the spanish chicas!!!
Your best bet is to use London as a home base and buy cheap tickets on BA, easyjet, swiss etc to Geneva and Madrid. RT to both would be like $100-$150 if bought early enough. Flights within the continent tend to be very expensive whereas flights to and from the Island (UK) are cheap. The train to Amsterdam from London isn't that fast because the Eurostar doesn't go all the way to Amsterdam. You are changing trains which adds time. Plus trains aren't as cheap as one would think. Cheapest is Easyjet/Ryanair when bought way ahead of time.
Enjoy!!!He who has the most fun wins!

Trains and Dates
TGV from Paris to Geneve - ~ 150euro aller-retour
Fly into Lyon? Try train from Lyon to Geneve?
What dates are you in Geneve and available for skiing?
I got the wheels if you can arrange the deals!
Been to Cham? Not I. Maybe we can hit up Idris for a tour?
Snowing plenty the end of this week and into the weekend from Verb - PDS - Cham. Another 30 - 60cm predicted from Friday thru Sunday.
Out of here this evening for 2 days up in PDS!

Looking to be in Geneve round about the 5th-10th! I'll try and get in touch w/ Tom in Cham. He reminds me of Han Solo as he offered to take Luke and Obi Wan into the Alderon system.
I can take us on a tour, based on a hazy memory of Tom's Aiguille routes, but I'm scared shitless and don't want to die.

Comish is on it. Easyjet all the way. Watch out though - they fly out of all three of the London Airports so make sure you realise which is which when booking (I don't want to under-estimate how much of an air tix jong you are
- ignore if you know this already).

You need to watch Ryanair - they knacker you for excess baggage costs.
