So, the scoop is, I'm going to school in Bozeman this coming year and I wanna know what the deal is with the ski areas around there... Bridger, Big Sky, or that virgin new place just made? Which one do you guys think is the best? Best for Huckin' and back country?

Big Sky has faster lifts, fewer crowds, and bigger vert.Originally posted by Urbankayaker

Bridger is best for hucking, lots of fun terrain features all over the place.
Big Sky has a park, bridger does not.
Bridger is a pretty easy 16 mi drive from bozeman, Big Sky is a pretty nasty 45 mi drive. Its hard to catch a powder morning at Big Sky and make an afternoon class.
Both places have hiking. I don't really consider anything with avalanche control to be BC (with the exception of the Wasatch when powderbirds are flying). BC in Montana pretty much requires a sled. There is good sled accessible BC in the bridgers and gallatins. Cook City is sick, sled and ski all over the place. A few places near big sky dont require a sled.
I really dont know a damn thing about moonlight basin."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

First off... Fuck you Pow Pow... I'll kick your ass, I know where you live, mwahaha.
- My Urban kayaking experiences have been similar to Jackass... You remember the episode right? Well I've also paddled the shitfilled river running thru my town with Pow Pow... If the creek ever gets enough water I plan on droppin the main bridge in town... Once they fill the new fountain up I plan on hittin that too
- And now that I've figured out what JONG means... piss off boys, especially you Pow Pow...
