Gnarls Barkley
"Crazy" will be this summer's song. Danger Mouse produced (I still listen to the Grey Album allllll the time) Get St. Elsewhere - once you hear Crazy, you'll be hooked. I know I'm not the only one loving this...Can't believe I'm the first to post about it. Whoever's going to Coachella - lucky you.

Crazy rocks (heard it 1st on Choc City/KCRW back in Jan and didn't find it again until last week).
Was super-psyched about the album.
Just got copies of "Free", "Smiley Faces", and "I Try" sent to me yesterday. Ugh. I made it through one of them and shut off the other two after 1m30s & 45s. Was really disappointed.
Did you like other trax?

with UAL on this one... Crazy is a great track, the rest of the album a steaming sack of garbaggio.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just gonna ask them where they're goin' and hook up with 'em later.

And I really wanted to like it, given how awesome Crazy is.... but the 3 additional tracks I heard just, well, sucked. And not in the way that "I just need to give it enough time to let it grow on me..."
Trite lyrics & wasn't into the beats on those tracks.
Well, saved me the cash/time for the rest of the album.

"Crazy" is a great song. But it is in danger of being my least favorite if my girlfriend doesn't quit playing it multiple times every morning while she gets ready for work.
"The fame was like a drug, but what was even more like a drug were the drugs."

Listen to the other tracks a couple more times. I did this and now I'm hooked. I'm tired of "Crazy" now and just dig the other stuff on the album.

I find it funny that it's already spent several weeks at #1, and actually been deleted from, the charts overseas.

I just got a copy of the grey album, and have really enjoyed it. But i don't feel Crazy is a good enough song to warrant the kind of over playing that it is getting

My most memorable experience with this song was during the MTV Music Awards. I had just smoked a shitload, and when I turned on the TV, Gnarls Barkley was taking the stage in a total Star Wars theme. I thought I was hallucinating for a while, it was awsome. A great song overall.

They only play and do interviews while dressed up as movie characters. Pretty funny.

I suppose Han Solo and Princess Liea Organa Solo were backstage doing blow? Or was Han on guitar dressed as a stomtrooper while Liea was backstage doing blow? Good to see that Luke, in his red # whatever suit, finally decided to grow his hair out.
If you had a nickel for every nickel he has, you would have a lot of fuckin' nickels!

I dig. Like tippster I avoid radio so I had no idea this stuff was getting overplayed. Yoga, if you like grey album check out Night at the Hip Hopera. Same concept to Queen (which comes off a lot better than it sounds in theory).

Overplayed or not, Danger Mouse is really good at what he does. He can take a song and shoot it through the charts because 80% of the people are just listening to the catchy lyrics and bass line, while all the while there is a ton of stuff layered in the background.
