Dog sat a few extra pups this weekend.
Makes having only one, 80-lb, dog seem like not that much dog in the house!

Lucy the labradoodle spotting a waterskier earlier today:

Great shot, Mr. M. She looks like a gamer and a little like my aussiedoodle, Otis:
Otis went for a bit of a walkabout this weekend...
While I was in VT and chain sawing trees, he grew bored and decided to make a 2 1/2 mile walk to go see his labradoodle friend, Leo!!! I looked everywhere, and finally figured that might be where he went, but I was a bit anxious. He'd never wondered off before except to visit another labradoodle on the ten acres next door. But the wild thing is, we had only driven the 2 1/2 mile route to their house once.... and it was from the other direction! He was so starved for fun... poor dude took matters into his own hands. I was damn glad to find him here!

[QUOTE=BigDaddy;4298189]Great shot, Mr. M. She looks like a gamer and a little like my aussiedoodle, Otis:
Thanks, BD, and glad your dog made it back. That is an awful feeling.
She is a gamer, alright. Lucy is my nephew's dog, lots of fun when she is the only dog around. She can be aggressive with other dog and just about killed my little Utah in a territorial dispute the day before. He has some dogfighting skills but when the other dog is a little crazy and outweighs you by 50 pounds, there is not much hope. After a lengthy time out, they were OK for the rest of the weekend. She loves that boat."... No furry residents in my house, maybe one day. Non shedding is high on the list though. I saw a red/tan standard poodle down the street the other day, nice looking dog also. Guess I asked as I hadn't heard of Aussie poodle crosses before, maybe not so common up there (although there are plenty of Aussie shepherds).

Get a Wheatie. Murphy only loses hair when he is combed and it all stays in the comb! Be prepared to comb, though. A lot of comb. Not brush, comb.

My full on toy poodle doesn't shed. But he needs a hair cut every six weeks.
