    Unfortunately, not stoke.

To any NH/VT liners. My family friend's (basically my big brother) dog went missing. She is old and has dementia. He would love to get her back so if you hear or see anything, please give a call.

Originally went missing Weathersfield, VT but there have been supposed sightings in Claremont, NH and Lempster, NH. Chris would love to give the old girl some more hugs, so keep your eyes peeled please.

That reminds me of my familily's first dog when we were growing up. He was a miniature poodle that we had first got when we lived in Switzerland when I was just a little kid. He stayed in our family for fourteen years. Eccentric little dog...he'd chase Swiss cows that were fifty times his size and had a habit of eating the weirdest foods...orange peels...lettuce...any vegetable. He was a canine garbage disposal and really came in handy to us kids, as he would stay under the dining room table and be the receiver of MANY Brussels sprouts and much spinich, unbeknownst to our parents. So I owe him a LOT!!

He finally got old with dementia and ended up walking something like 14 miles from our house one weekend. Some kindhearted soul picked him up for us. We took him to the vet to be euthanized a couple days later. That last long walk really did him in at that age.

I hope the family finds the dog. Family dogs are cornerstones of the home.

Well, they were these unquestionably Swiss-looking cows that lived beside our place outside of Geneva. They looked like Elsie the Cow (come to think of it...I bet most kids don't GET why that cow is on the bottle of Elmer's glue, heh hehh).

Anyway, I have no idea what those tan cows are called (Jersey...Guernsey??) , but our family has been calling them Swiss cows ever since. And I remember that they even wore a leather collar and large bell. I'm serious-like.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

We didn't get more than a centimeter of snow over the whole of last season, so today was pretty special. First time in the snow.
