Maggot motorcycle stoke thread
OK. I'm getting stoked to ride. Will be getting the bike insured and what not this week to get her legal. Temps have been in the 60's. Buzzworthy posted a pic of his new bike in another thread. Lets see pics of your motorcycle. Yeti? phUnk?
I know there are more of you. Post em up! Here's mine-
And some very cool motorcycle vids-
This one is unreal, doing a wheelie going past another guy doing around 180mph like he's standing still

Never ridden, but I know I'd love it. One of my goals for the summer is getting my license and a starter bike.

Pretty similar to this. 2005 cr85 expert, xr200 engine with a 25cc bore, some more engine mods, DMC exhaust, black plastic, black excel rims, ohlins rear shock. Short people can have fun too

They are sweet bikes though, great for really tight trail riding.

Adding some more dirt stoke. Street bikes are for wussies

Gotta love how pics taken only 5 years ago contain gear so out of style now...

Top speed, yes. Horsepower, yes. Torque is infinitely better, as it has some. I have seen these things with 250f engines in them, but that is too much power for the weight. Yeah, I forgot to mention that they are light.

'98 Buell M2 Cyclone - slightly modified... 16k original miles too. I've owned 6 bikes in my life, this is the first one I ever bought new.

Honda Trail 90 circa 1970
I got it really cheep, I need to replace the whole electrical system though, all the sudden late last summer it started short circuiting batteries, two new ones in a row.Preserving farness, nearness presences nearness in nearing that farness

Vids are sick!
Reminds me of the guy last year that pushed the tailgate of an F-250 in to the back of the cab at the corner of Hwy 285 and 126 in Pine Junction CO with a GXSR. They said the truck was going 50 mph, but have no idea how fast the bike was going (the dude turned in to a slurpee.) He must have been movin’! Rear-ending an F-250 that is doing 50 mph and creating that much damage to the truck would have been tough even with a car……….watch out for dipshits and make sure you are in the middle of nowhere when “testing aerodynamics.”
Sweet Bike BTW

#1 rule about wheelies: it's hard to steer while doing one. That Ghostrider guy is gonna die.

04-16-2006, 07:36 PM #22Rule #2: If you do a lot of wheelies, you'll figure out that #1 isn't as hard as you think

Ummm... yeah - do a chicane on one wheel = not so headsy. Ask Foggy.
-
04-16-2006, 07:42 PM #24Meh, on a streetbike? Probably not....

Of course on a street bike. I'm not a windowlicker who cannot be let on a public street on two wheels...

Nevermind - the intent of rule #3 finally infiltrated my cerebrum.
