Can I ski bumps with Fritschi Freerides?

I just ordered a pair and I'm debating which skis to mount them on. I've got a pair of Fischer Airstyles that I was planning on using for moguls but they're super light and I would love to use them for backcountry, too. But are the bindings strong enough for skiing bumps?

yes, you caaan ski some bumps on freerides, but NO, absolutely no, you do not want have a bump oriented setup, bc use or not, with freerides. You will bust them eventually, and they won't perform well anyway.

Basically, I don't avoid bumps when I'm on freerides, but you shouldn't plan to ski bumps a lot in freerides either.

Anyway, bc = pow chasing, and pow = width underfoot, something not great for skiing bumps. You need a different bc ski.

I can handle skiing pow without getting a pow-specific ski, especially since I've already spent some serious cake on the bindings, skis and tons of other stuff.

Thanks for the tip, though. Now I have to decide on which ski to use - Aistyles for bumps and old Rossi bump skis for backcountry or should it be the other way around? Hmmm.....

    I'd interpret this as:
You've got it all wrong dood! The best part about the freerides is you've got an excuse to never ski bumps again.
but that may just be because I can read an excuse not to ski bumps into anything.

Never ski bumps again? My quads and my back would love that but the rest of me wouldn't. Warm spring days and soft, mushy bumps go together Ron Jeremy and gag reflexes. Did I just say that?
