Man, this is too good...
anybody who's spent any time in Bozeman reading the Chronicle (comical), the paper in town, has most likely seen the police reports. Anyway one of my buddies who still lives there sent me the ultimate christmas present, the Best of the Bozeman Police Reports tear-away daily calendar.
today's offering:
"A deputy found a group of people at the "M" trailhead at around 10:40pm Sunday burning several pairs of old skis in an attempt to appease 'The Great Snow Father.' The offering was unsuccessful as no new snow fell and members of the group were cited for being minors in possession of alcohol."
too funny. yeah, there are some heartless non-skiing dicks who live in montana, and won't move. They just don't understand...

I'd bet that last one was written by a skier, otherwise no humor in the detail. That said, underage drinking is considered a problem by many... right or wrong, it's da law. Most of yer non-skiing dicks are on a ranch somewhere...
